Step 2 - Disabling Warsaw and Antivirus softwares

We know how important third-party software is for our customers' daily routines. However, some of them can interfere with received data and thus with the platform’s performance.

Two software that usually affects Vector’s operation is Warsaw and antivirus, present in the market (except for Windows Defender). To ensure that they don’t interfere in your studies and trades, disable them by following the steps below.

Warsaw

Also located by the names Diebold Nixford and GAS Technology, Warsaw is a bank security plugin obtained to access Internet Banking websites. To check whether it is affecting your platform, follow the steps below.

1 - Search for the Control Panel on the Start menu and access the panel;

2 - In the Control Panel screen, go on Programs > Uninstall a program or Programs and Resources;

3 - Try to locate “Warsaw”, “Diebold Nixford" or "GAS Technology"; and

4 - Right-click the program, select the option “Uninstall” and follow through with the uninstallation procedure.

Antivirus

As mentioned earlier in this article, with the exception of Windows Defender (native of the operating system), all other antivirus software can impact your platform’s performance. Therefore, it’s important to uninstall them:

1 - Access the start menu > Control Panel;

2 - Click on Uninstall a program or resource; and

3 - Right-click the program, select the option “Uninstall” and follow through with the uninstallation procedure.

Is there an alternative so I don’t have to uninstall my antivirus?

Yes, it’s possible to enable exceptions. These exceptions indicate to the antivirus that the platform doesn’t represent a threat to the computer, but this does not guarantee that the software will ignore Vector’s existence completely.
