One of the main characteristics of the Blockchain Network is its mining and processing capacity.
This functionality allows for the registration of new blocks and the verification of existing crypto assets traded daily.
This process is carried out by the network's miners, who mine crypto blocks, through puzzle-solving practices in the network's Proof of Work.
Proof of Work (POW)
The implied purpose of this mechanism is to avoid double-spending through a process of validation of active computers on the Network itself.
The Hash Rate indicator shows the mining and processing capacity of active computers in the Blockchain network. The greater the processing capacity of the network, the greater the security. The availability of an asset increases with the discovery of new blocks, and the number of verifiers in the system is also increased, bringing greater security to daily operations.
It´s now clear why an increase in the mining rate positively affects the stability of the system.
Considering this, we can make inferences about the increase or reduction of this rate and its causal relationship with the quotation of the crypto asset.
By adding the Network Mining Indicator (Hash Rate) on your platform in two different ways, you can be up to date with the system's mining capacity alterations. This way, you will be able to base your decision-making with the complement of this highly relevant information, as described above.
To add this indicator, right-click on the chart > select "Add Indicator" > type "Hash Rate" > select "Add New Window".
The Hash Rate indicator will appear at the bottom of the screen, below the chart.
Another way to add the Mining Rate (Hash Rate) is through the Tools menu > Network Data >+ > New Layout > select Hash Rate.
After following these steps, the Mining Rate indicator (Hash Rate) will be enabled on your screen.
Find a few settings at your disposal that can be modified in both formats of the Hash Rate. To open Settings, right-click on the tool and access Data Network Properties.
